Chicago Recorder Trio is a Chicago-based professional recorder trio. Chicago Recorder Quartet (CRQ) is a Chicago-based professional recorder quartet.
Its mission: bringing early music to the contemporary world and presenting contemporary music on one of the earliest known instruments. Referred to in many languages as the "sweet flute," the recorder is a dynamic and sonorous instrument in the hands of CRQ members Lisette Kielson, Mirja Lorenz, Patrick O'Malley, and Laura Osterlund.
