Did you know that opera singers don’t ALWAYS sing opera arias???😱 😱😱😱😱😱
Meet Stan DeCwikiel, one of our seasoned OOT Chicago roster members, who is ready and willing to ham up a The Christmas Song at our Holiday Ham and Cheese ham and cheese on 12/9.
“One hot summer day in 1945, the great Mel Tormé saw some scribbles that intrigued him: fellow songwriter Robert Wells had written down some lines about chestnuts and Jack Frost, to psych himself into cooling off. Instead, Tormé turned those lines into the classic The Christmas Song.”- Stan DeCwikiel

Here’s a taste of what’s to come from Bethany - “Ach ich fuhls is a song about FEELINGS, particularly when your crush is not noticing you. I’ve updated it for these modern times, so if you know the actual translation, no you don’t!” - Bethany

“Sometimes, when you do character analysis, you stumble across a character that is the quintessential archetype of a Myers-Briggs personality test result. Such is the case with Musetta—an OBVIOUS ESFP. Taught from an early age how to make a an entrance, she knows exactly what to do, what to say, how to dress, and how to act to become THE most talked about girlie on the block. In other words, Musetta is THE Taylor Swift of Puccini’s opera characters. Players gonna play...haters gonna hate...and Musetta? Musetta is just gonna shake shake shake...” -
Do you know the name of the cheesy soprano aria that Allison will be singing at our show on 12/9? Write your guesses in the comments below and come to our Holiday Ham and Cheese show on 12/9. We promise the vibes will be better than Gouda 😉.

“O Sole Mio’ is basically the original Italian love song flex, so much romance and dramatic high notes. It’s the kind of tune that makes you want to throw open a window, belt your heart out, and pretend you’re in a vintage Neapolitan postcard!”-
Our Holiday Ham and Cheese show has more than just American cheese 😉. Come and watch Eric melt hearts with some extra Italian Parmesan cheese on 12/9!!!
