So here's Hericules, the Valiant Pokemon and Grimalkip, the Unending Nightmare Pokemon!

This month's project though is turning the rest of the Smiling Critters into fakemon, starting with Hoppy Hopscotch. Took me a minute to come up with a name, but here's Vaultage! I...don't have a classification for her just yet but I will before the month's up! 🤞

But also apologies if the subject matter gets a bit heavy as I do talk about my own mental health and ways I view myself a bit!

I've never posted a real introduction at all and I've never made any sorta "meet the artist" post so better late than never!

If you ever meet me in person, then I'll introduce myself by my real name but online I go by Sombra. She's sorta my mascot and fursona rolled into one.

I don't draw her all too often because I don't really feel the need to. I used to try to make her an idealized version of myself. That's usually what people tend to do with their fursonas. They take the best parts of themselves or attributes that they want to have and mix that all together to make a character that represents themselves.

Sombra's, first and foremost, always been a representation of how I wish I looked in the most literal sense. And I tried making her a more idealized, happier version of me, but that disconnected me from my own fursona. I'm not a happy person. I'm working on it. Slowly. But I'm negative and cynical and I try my best to hide if because I know people don't like that. But I'm also tired of pretending that I'm not that. So Sombra will just be me. Tired and unhappy and frumpy and honestly drawing her this way finally gave her some semblance of a personality and character. It's good to have my own fursona not look like a generic dog.

It took a while but I've kept up my streak of making 1 video a month so far!

Well this is a couple of days late but people say better late than never, right? 😅

Finally got my March community day art done! Still not a fan of Incineroar's design. Coming off the heels of how good Litten and Torracat look, Incineroar is just disappointing and awkward. But all that's saved by the shinies 'cause their shinies are fantastic! 😍

Also apologies in advance for any audio issues. I'm still learning how to edit and balancing audio is by far the hardest part for me so the sound might be a bit softer than I was aiming for. ^^;

Not making a video this time but I still wanted to make the art. I’m now irrationally frustrated that Chansey’s the only green shiny in the group. 🥲

So I'd quickly made an Eevee button at the end of 2022 because I wanted to have a few more designs made for my table at cons. But even then I thought it was rushed and didn't really like it much. It was definitely a disservice to Eevee and my art in general, so I decided to remake it!

The new one? Miles better! I actually like it! 🥰
