Can u relate? 😂 this song is super unfinished, I just wanted to share with yall what I have been working on, and to let you know the direction I’m taking with my next project. This song in particular called “Old Days”, I was remembering a night we had in the Brighton Beach Pool Hall years ago, where Bobby aka brought something to roll , as usual, the Henny was under the pool table, as usual… and 50 was on the radio lol. Pretty self explanatory. But I also touch on the folks in our circle that we lost over the years, either to senseless violence or overdose, something that affects us every day, and something that’s always on my mind especially when I’m in the neighborhood. Let me know what you think. This is gonna be the first time ever in my career that I’m gonna be sharing unfinished works and taking yall on the journey of some of my process.

Here’s to a year of transformation, matrescence, shedding, rediscovering, joy, inspiration, music and love. 2025 was the most challenging and rewarding year. I cried more than I have before. I prayed more than I have before. I feel closer to God than before. I have found myself in motherhood. I have regained my inspiration in music. Today was a hard day. After 3 days in Cancun without my baby (DJ Life) I was crying in the airport missing him, my girls and were comforting me. When we got to JFK for our layover to San Diego, I was sad I wasn’t gonna see him until Sunday. Just then, out of nowhere ! Appears with our baby boy . He came all this way just to be in the airport with us until our flight. I got to hug and kiss and smell my baby for about 2 hours until it was time to board. I have never been surprised like this before. A true blessing. I wanted to share this with yall because i want to shout from the rooftops how incredible it feels to be cared for in this way. And how incredible of a man CJ is. How incredible my family is. Yall know how hard it is for me to leave my baby, and this little couple hours brought me so much joy. That was better than any movie , any wish, any riches. Family is everything. Here’s some more pics of Shawn too I know I don’t post enough haha.

2 years since we dropped “Water Babies” and every song is still a BANGER. We experimented creatively so much, including putting baby Lumi on the track “ain’t no telling”, and creating a song about “Hobosexuals” NO SKIPS. Stream it today 🥰
