The gallery is open from 11-3 and we’ll have collage materials out from 12-2. Old misprints, magazines, and random ephemera can be spliced, torn, and repurposed for new art. Creativity welcome and encouraged— leave your artistic expectations at the door and come create something just for the fun of it!

Fall printmaking classes are open for registration. All classes are beginner friendly and all experience levels are welcome!
Printmaking is all about honoring tradition and innovation throughout time. We take it very seriously here at the Chicago Printmakers Collaborative.

CPC quirks, favorite things, signs, and affirmations. Come test your eyesight in our bathroom, leave an offering at our altar (to the Print Gods), or feast your eyes upon prints and prints galore.
These monoprints by CPC member, Ani Johnson, were made by applying ink onto a plate and sticking that through the press with Rives BFK paper to catch the imagery. Ani was able to pull two prints from the single ink application, pulling one first and then a ghost print to follow.
This piece is currently my favorite, as it shows the capturing of a so well. It also contains imagery of this exact spot in the print shop— the slab my phone is sitting on for this video is actually the slab covered in ink in this print.
Visit the shop to see the ghost vs the first pull up close and personal. Ask us questions about printmaking or just browse the walls in silence. We’re welcoming to all shopping experiences 🙂↕️

This could be your studio starting as soon as August 1st! For $400 a month, private studio members get 24-hour key holding access to the studio and all of its equipment, in addition to a private and lockable work space. If you are interested, DM us or send us an email through of website to tour the space and join our printmaking community.

Here are some of our fun signs around the shop. From our sleepy dark room to our goofy washout room and even our bathroom recommendations, the studio has signs for everything.
Try to spot all of them when you visit the studio! All signage featured here by Matt Bodett except the gouge-character!
