You know what’s pretty neat?

Over the last 6 years, 95% of the people I’ve helped buy or sell a home have been introduced to me by another realtor, a previous client, a doorman or a friend/family member. In this case, my clients Gina & Jeff were referred to me both by a neighbor and their doorman after unsuccessfully listing their place with another agent for over a year.

This marks the 5th condo I’ve sold in the building since 2020, which is cool. They’re not the easiest condos to sell with HOA fees upwards of $1,800 per month. But I have developed a ✨streamlined✨ process for presenting each condo in the best way possible while minimizing costs to my sellers and emphasizing the positives of the building, the home itself and how it compares to others on the market.

4 years ago when I helped Katie buy her first condo, she referred a friend to me with the exact text you see above on the photo and to this day it’s one of my favorite “reviews”.

Anyways, after a few months of searching for the right property we finally found this gem in Logan Square that was designed by the prominent architects Koppel and Koppel in the 1920’s. With extra wide and deep apartments this is sure to be a wise investment for years to come.

Reviews and post-closings texts like these are why I do what I do. A lot of people don’t know where to begin when they’re considering selling a property - especially if they’re out of state. Which is why I look forward to initial consultations where I can lay out a specific strategy to best position sellers to get the most $$$ for their property.

I only had two goals for this experience and they were to:
A) Not get knocked out in front of my friends and family
B) Look somewhat athletic in the ring

I accomplished A and did pretty well on B except for tripping over my own feet in round 1.

A sincere thank you again to everyone who donated to my Mercy Homes fundraiser for the Real Estate Rumble and allowed me to take the top spot for individual fundraisers for the event. Fighting in the ring in front of my friends and family was a remarkable and nerve-racking experience.

I’ll definitely be back again next year. A special thank you to for the training, and my Uncle Al for coming out to be in my corner, my Dad for rallying the troops to get out to the fight, my girlfriend .catherine for tolerating me shadow-boxing her for the last 8 weeks, and everyone else pictured for coming out to see me in the ring.

I asked my friend/sparring partner/talented photographer to snap some photos of me before I wreck my s*** in the next week Thursday May 16th.

After 3 months of training I’ll be stepping into the ring next week to fight another Chicago realtor. This year I’m raising money for Mercy Home for Boys and Girls in Chicago.

Mercy Home has been helping kids who’ve experienced abuse, neglect, and/or violence at home by assisting them with education, career guidance and a safe place to call home since 1887. Last year 100% of their high school seniors graduated, and 95% of youth living with Mercy Home have advanced to the next grade level. This is a local charity that has been helping young Chicagoans for well over a century.

My goal is to raise $2,000 for the charity and I’m just over 75% of the way there.

The Mike Tyson quote “everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face” has never rung more true than the first time I sparred with a couple months ago. One week out from the fight and I’m excited, anxious and confident we’ll put on a good show for a great cause.

A few months ago, Gunes and Maweja reached out to buy their first home in order to be closer to the lake during the summers with their kids. They both work full-time running a foster care home so their schedules are a little hectic. And they were looking for a property they could rent out a few months of the year when they’re not staying there during the summer.

Eventually we found them the perfect little condo in Evanston and won a multiple offer scenario. Excited for these two to enjoy their summers and have an investment property for the rest of the year.

After 6 years in the biz I’ve officially started my own team welcoming Shannon () to in the process.

I am thankful for a many people who’ve allowed me to get to this point. Countless mentors in the industry especially . Past/future clients and friends/family who’ve supported me along the way as I’ve navigated this career going all in on myself as a full-time realtor back in 2018. My girlfriend .catherine for helping me up my social media game. And many others.

The first listing I ever had back in 2019 belonged to a long-time family friend, Kim. Having trusted me, a brand new Realtor, with the sale of her condo I prided myself on representing her as best I possibly could.

A week into the listing we received an offer that Kim wanted to take. When I advised her that we should wait because I knew we could do better, I was still a little nervous that we wouldn’t. After following up with all the 17 agents who showed the property, one of them responded and said she’d have me an offer that evening. After all was said and done, we wound up selling for a full $15,000 over that initial offer which is still one of my proudest moments in my career.
