The Oral Board AI Simulator (OBAS), developed through the Ed Curtis Laboratory for Innovation in Medical Education (ECLIME) at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, provides cardiothoracic trainees with unlimited, on-demand mock oral board examinations—face-to-face with a realistic AI video examiner that questions you by voice, adapts the case as you answer, and grades every response against a structured rubric.
