ConnectCareHero is a digital health platform that uses culturally relevant content to keep older adults socially connected and significantly improve their health outcomes.

This past year, I met some incredible entrepreneurs whose ideas are driving economic growth and improving lives across Illinois. Osvaldo Montelongo and Tornu Ngwayah—co-founders of ConnectCareHero—are perfect examples. Their innovative platform provides entertainment and social connection for seniors in assisted living communities. With support from my office's Illinois Growth and Innovation Fund, they’re not only expanding access to senior engagement tools, but they’re also creating jobs for local artists, musicians, and comedians. We had a blast using the interactive game on our new Telly Wall powered by Connect Care Hero where everyone played Wheel of Fortune!🎉 It was so much fun to see everyone getting competitive and trying to solve the puzzles. The interactive features on the Telly Wall made the game even more exciting and engaging for everyone involved.🤩
