Jargon often leads to overly complicated writing. You may be an expert in your industry and using technical terms may come natural to you but there’s often a better way to say things than using jargon.

Think about your audience and what you’re really trying to communicate. It’s important to keep things as simple as possible, especially when providing information. Content that is easier to read will engage readers and help relate to the story you’re trying to tell.
