Chicago, we’re coming for ya. Here’s a picture of Kevin covered in McDonald’s after a Windy City set - Skokie, IL circa 2017. We are making our triumphant return to Beat Kitchen with our oldest friends in Outrun the Sunlight and Reunion. Breaking out some oldies for this set.

Getting stoked for our upcoming Chicago headliner at one of my favorite venues, Beat Kitchen. We will be sharing the evening with some of our oldest friends in a city that has always shown us a lot of love. Monday, May 2 - ticket link in the comments. Available today for listening is “Here and Now - Instrumentals.” We’re heavily influenced by instrumental music, even having instrumental tracks on most of our records, and have made instrumental versions of our previous albums but have never released them. There’s always been effort put into making the music stand on it’s own and be interesting without vocals, and having the two complement and inform each other. When experiencing the record sans vocals, there’s more of an opportunity to pick out the different layers and performances and just enjoy the music in a different way.
