Developmental appropriate!!! It's ages and stages!!! They'll get where they need to be!!
This is the way 4 year olds all over the globe make humans. It’s a developmental progression from the original tad pole human (age 3). Children don’t need to be taught to draw! Don’t let anyone convince you (Handwriting without Tears) that they need to learn to draw the Mat Man. Let them be their brilliant 4 year old selves!

Did you know…?!
Yes!!! Having toddlers wait to begin eating communal snack until everyone has been served is perfectly appropriate, and possible!
They learn delays of gratification, deepen their understanding of being part of a social group, pay attention to HOW snack is being served, AND it is a wonderful way to a peaceful dining experience!
It DOES take time and consistency to make this a part of the snack routine, but it is worth it!
