Hi Everyone!

The venue I was going to play at May 2 suddenly closed down! But never fear! My good friend Sonia came to the rescue! She has a House Concert Series and I am so lucky she had Friday open! So our show will be as scheduled, but at her house in Logan Square near California and Fullerton! I hope you can join us!

Doors open 7 pm. Show is 8:00-9:45. We have to leave at 10 so as not to disturb neighbors. So come early to mingle. Parking can be a little difficult as it is a popular neighborhood, so leave 5 or 10 minutes extra for that.
I will be providing wine, beer and lots of sparkling water, as well as snacks.
This is a very special venue, very unique and friendly and you will love it. Essentially it is WAY BETTER than the other location and you don't have to buy a 2 drink minimum!

We will be playing two 45-minute sets with a 15 minute intermission. Jazz standards inspired by Frank Sinatra's 1956 album "Songs for Swingin' Lovers" and a bunch of Cole Porter tunes and some tunes in Spanish. It will be an upbeat show. Joining me is Jarvis Raymond on Jazz guitar, Kevin Gunawan on upright bass, Christian Hindratno on drums and Alex Kelsh on tenor sax. I'm calling them "The Band Wagon" after one of my favorite Fred Astaire movies!!

It will be a good time for all!

The venue for my show May 2 has been changed!!

Davenport's suddenly just canceled all shows. If you already bought tickets, the third party ticket service DICE is refunding them.

My friend has come to the rescue and we will be having our show at her Logan Square house which she converted into a concert space last year. Let me just say Grammy nominee Cyrille Aimee played there last month, okaaayyy??

I will post more details tomorrow. I hope you will join us! It's been a dramatic 24 hours, but we will triumph in the end!

Our Valentine set at Madame Zuzu's Musical Brunch went great! Thank you to my friends and family for coming! It was such a pleasure to sing with Jeremy Kahn, one of the very best pianists in Chicago and a super nice guy. Not to mention Kevin Gunawan an excellent bassist! I'm lucky!

Please come tomorrow, Sunday February 11, to Madame Zuzu's in Highland Park. 1876 First street. Right off the metra. 11 am - 2 pm. It's their musical brunch series. No cover.
