But first, take a walk with me through Sarah’s 𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 backyard garden….I met Sarah last autumn when I had the pleasure of capturing her adorable family’s autumn portraits and absolutely adored them (𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗺𝗻’𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗺 𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀). So when she contacted me almost 8 months in advance to secure a time for a special birthday photoshoot for herself - staged in her amazing backyard garden - I said DUH YES PLEASE!!!! Sarah walked me through her gorgeous oasis, telling me the names of the flowers, describing how they grow and the multitude of colors they become. You could literally feel her passion…and to say it was one of my favorite sessions is an understatement. Anyone else want a backyard garden session?!?! 🌸🌺

Ok, ᴀɴᴅ ɴᴏᴡ ꜰᴏʀ ᴛʜᴇ ᴜᴘᴅᴀᴛᴇs: unfortunately I have had to pulled back from large event photography. I will still take on clients for unique solo portraits, and of course family, maternity, and newborn sessions. Oh, and we can’t forget my ! But my schedule and family life don’t afford me enough time to also be gone on the wknds and spending days and days editing. I just HAD to share a few faves from Mimi + Ryan’s engagement session, because oh.my.goodness, are these two adorable and so infectiously happy and kind! I wish you two the happiest of lives together!!! ❤️

I got to hang out with these two cuties again a few nights ago (after capturing the proposal back in January!) and it was so much fun!! Bonus - they’re kinda amazing in front of the camera. ❤️
