In support of my fourth book endeavor, my friend Alisa Schulz suggested I listen to Viola Davis's fabulous audiobook, FINDING ME: A MEMOIR. I LOVE IT! 😍💥

Within it, Viola and Will Smith have a chat in which Will asks Viola, "Who are you?" This inspirational story motivated me to do a little introspection in the spirit of my autobiography. Here's what I wrote with ChatGBT:

I am Minnie, the daughter of a charismatic yet unstable mother affected by schizophrenia and a father who was a rocket scientist. During my adolescent years, I faced a relentless cycle of sexual abuse and endured verbal, physical, and emotional mistreatment from my family and my community, as well as the nuns and priests at my Catholic school. This upbringing left me feeling worthless, invisible, helpless, ashamed, and profoundly unloved. My grandfather, Poirier, was the only person who provided me with unconditional love. Unfortunately, my life was irrevocably changed when I lost him to a tragic accident at the age of eight, as he was hit by a car.

As a result of these experiences, I turned to self-medication through various addictions, including sugar, alcohol, drugs, ci******es, and compulsive spending. And yet, despite all of my emotional challenges and substance abuse, I eventually grew into an accomplished, successful adult.

A few of my proud moments were making my mark on the world by writing two internationally published books and establishing my own modeling agency, Aria Model & Talent, which was later sold to Ford Models NY. I also played a significant role in discovering a supermodel, Cindy Crawford. And I can proudly share that I've been clean and sober for over twenty years.
