Greetings Community! 🥹 I am excited to announce my upcoming travels to Dakar, Senegal, in December 2025 with the Bakalama Dance Company, where I will delve into traditional Senegalese dance and culture. To make this experience possible, I aim to raise $1555 by November 12th for flight expenses, with the remaining costs self-funded or covered by the host. If you are interested in collaborating through work, creative direction, or performances, please reach out—I would love to work together!

In addition to my teaching job, performing and odd jobs in between to help contribute to my family I am using Spotfund to collect donations for this dance intensive. I am very grateful for this opportunity and this alignment towards the steps in my dance movement therapist career with an emphasize on cultural arts for healing. OMG. My first class was AMAZEBALLS!! S/O to @afrodite.flows and @yucaa_frita for showing up and having fun with me. FLOW is an intro to freestyling. Learning to trust our bodies and to trust the music! Here I gave students the opportunity to come up with their own moves and apply then to different types of music bc you never know what the Dj gone play next!! It’s a skill to adapt gracefully.!! I admired their individual dance styles and wanted them to use it to their advantage!! My next class will in 2024 -Afrohouse dance class working on dance stamina and endurance - Yoga class focuses on slow movement, sound and aromatherapy on the dance floor
