From Renter to FOUR Doors 🚪

Waking up today as a homeowner has been one of the most fulfilling experiences I have ever experienced in my life. This goal has been in the works for over 6 years. The desire to own buildings and create financial independence was the reason WHY I got into real estate.

I knew I didn’t have the money, the credit, nor the job history to purchase a home so in 2019 I got my very first job in real estate in a property management position to help me learn how I would manage my properties once I was able to purchase.

As I gained more knowledge as to how an investor thinks and a property manager operates I realized that I would need more income and savings to purchase a building and decided what better way than to help people purchase properties. I learned so much with the help of my company Fulton Grace Realty and my mentors and friends that I met in the industry.

I had so many challenges in these past 6 years, from getting into approximately 100k in debt to getting out of it, working on my credit after a bad year and a being on the repo list. I couldn’t believe when I saw a 4 in front of my score but I worked on it and here we’re are, nonetheless. Or when my lights were cut off because I didn’t have the money to pay them because deals were cancelled.

I dove into Real Estate like no other and even took the course to become an appraiser. However there’s nothing that has brought me more joy than helping my clients go from renters to landlords. And to now be able to finally do it for myself is mind blowing

I DID NOT DO THIS ALONE. I can’t even begin to thank all the people who have helped me through this process: my parents first and foremost who have been through every up and down with me, my besties, my clients, my team, my family, my community. It truly takes a village.

Anywho, I could go on forever about how grateful I am to be here today and have done this. I cannot wait to continue to help people make their dreams come true now. My dreams always come true and the little girl Irais that grew up very humbly that dreamt of this is proud of me.😭 crying tears of joy.

What an amazing way to end the year and start off the new year! We had a great month helping our landlord clients find the perfect tenants in the middle of the holiday season. Additionally, we have two multi family under contract and on their way to close. 2025 was full of many lessons but the biggest one was that hard work and persistence truly does pay off when you’re operating from a place of faith and service. We are ecstatic at This is IT in anticipation to what 2026 will bring, and we are looking for yet another year of opportunities to help our amazing clients.
