Little steps work! This pictures are about 20 months apart March 2020 to October 2021
That March 2020 I started my journey, running a very slow and painful 1 mile and doing some HIIT with .adriazola.
Today my daily exercise routine is 5-7 miles 5 days a week at an average pace of 8 min/mile And Rx+ CrossFit sessions 6 days per week. Even though I was traveling 12 out of those 20 months, I kept going non-stop and I have been committed with fitness and health.
I do intermittent fasting as well. First meal at around 1 pm, last meal at 8 pm. I drink little to non alcohol and I practice abstinence , I am building better sleep habit setting my time to go to sleep at 10 pm and waking up at 6:30 am.
I stopped counting calories a few months ago. I already know just by observation more or less what amount of macros I am eating, and at this my metabolism is accelerated so It uses every calorie as energy even resting.
This week I will start to be more detailed with my diet to keep progressing in my journey.

Always incredible beautiful and inspiring, In a few days I will be celebrating 7 years since I moved to Chicago and every single time that I return to Chicago it surprises me again with the magnificent and beauty that the downtown Chicago has to offer.

Your age does not determine what you do and what you don’t.
Not much to say. Sometime very different happens to me these last couple of weeks that I have been in Chicago.
People that have not seen me in a few months told me about how different I look like.
That I look 10 or 20 years younger of how I look like a few months ago. And actually I am agree. I felt like 20 years old older.
I was running on Saturday and a guy maybe my age told me. You are too old to have a six pack. He was joking but at the same time enforces the age stereotype.
Although never let the stereotype that because you re certain age you must look or behave in certain way.
I have heard so many time. You are too old for that. Or that is for younger people. And actually when I was younger. You are too young for that. There is no age for how you behave and what you want in life. Just go for what you want and create your own reality.

Scrolling down my Instagram feed and I saw this picture of me a year ago, at the time actually I already have lost a lot of weight.
And this is the now. , I will soon post a video about my process. It took me about a year and a half from very big Blad to get to the physical condition in which I am today.

I got my t-shirt signed by the !!
Last night after the killed in Lollapalooza, We came out and started to walk because Downtown Chicago was so crowded that was impossible to take any kind of transportation.
After about an hour walking We were suddenly in front of this Hotel were We saw was coming out of a van.
started to point it out and We approach him to ask for an autograph, behind him came out of another Van and we got both autograph. The only thing that I had to get the signatures was my Brazilian T-Shirt. So they signed out. Dave told me. Mo********er you better put your t-shirt on or you are gonna get a cold!

This is the change of my body composition in 3.5 months. 12 lb less, 5% less body fat, basically keeping the same body mass.
During all this time I was traveling, Miami, then Brazil in Rio, Florianópolis, P**a Beach, Joao Pessoa, back to Rio and back to Miami until now that I am back in Chicago.
I was very aware of my Running and workout routines, always running, everyday in the morning and doing CrossFit in the afternoon, I looked for a CrossFit box in every single city and I found it.
I know that if I have staid in the same city maybe it would be “easier” to get better results, but I am even more proud that I achieved this progress, even without the best diet and conditions.
Find the time, do the plan, there is always an alternative that once it becomes a habit does not represent a sacrifice anymore.
Consistency is the key

These are Pants that I bought about a year ago. They fit me well when I bought them.
Size 32, I think now I am size 30 or 28, depending on the brand. I cannot use these pants anymore, they are too wide for my waist and fall to my hips to say the less. I don’t really measure the differences that are happening in my body during this journey in which I returned to workout and started to run.
Now I run 5 miles everyday in very good pace, and workout CrossFit 5-6 days a week as well. Some people would say. That is too much. Well now because I incorporated those activities in my daily routine. They seem to be the normal thing to do everyday.
I have been traveling different countries and cities and I always find the way to get my workouts done. They are non negotiable sim my day, morning for running afternoon for weights.

Just to keep myself accountable.
I am in this process to connect body, mind and soul, it is an interesting cycle, working the mind to work the Body, to connect with the soul, and all the way around in every combination posible.
To transform and idea into reality takes consistent work. Is the only way. Progressive little efforts everyday building up reality.
You don’t need energy to start building your own reality, just to take little decisions everyday and do whatever it takes with consistency. It does not matter you feel low, sad, happy, unmotivated, energized. Just go and take the step that is needed to be close to the reality that you want for yourself.
The energy, motivation, good mood will follow and some days won’t be there. But it does not matter because you have very present the reality that you are creating for yourself and that will keep you going.
