This first photo was taken 7 years ago. It was my first day on the job as a self proclaimed filmmaker. .joshjones and I didn’t have s**t but a camera and an old computer and we’d drive uber eats to make rent and take on free projects to build our portfolio. We shared one goal and that was to become full time filmmakers and work with our favorite artists. It took a few years before we finally got there but these early days I look back on with such a big smile. I can’t believe where life has taken us and how we finessed our way. I thank the higher powers of the universe for rewarding our courage and Amazon for letting me “buy” and then return thousands of dollars of production expenses I really couldn’t afford. They did cancel my membership for a time but it was too late. We got what we needed and I just created a new account anyway. The amount of work put in is unconscionable and tbh It didn’t matter. I wouldent change anything Happy 7 years.

Some inside thoughts for the outside world 🧠🌎

To my Brother from the same mother… few words can convey the mark you’ve had on my life. Everything you’ve taught me everything you’ve shown me opened up my mind and brought me to who I am. You’ve shown me different worlds that I didn’t even know existed and you helped me pave my own lane from my experiences. I thank the universe a million times over for blessing me with you as my older brother and friend. To the best man I know and the realest role model I’ve ever had… happy birthday!

Not a normal dad….Not even close….Pops I can’t even begin to express how grateful I am for you. The universe blessed me when I entered the world. He gave me A true friend, a relentless supporter, and someone who gave me the space to follow my heart. A lot fathers try to project what they want onto their kids, or push them to be a doctor or some s**t they’re not. You never did that, you never wanted anything for me other than whatever it was that made me feel happy. You’re the most open minded and joyful person I know. Happy fashhhaaa day.
