Breaking Ground: The 2027 Illinois State Robotics Championship Is Coming | Future Innovators New challenges, expanded opportunities, and a full season release are coming this November.

By popular demand, Robo Arena / Robo Sumo has been added to our Fall Session 2 schedule!

Students will build, test, improve, and battle robots through fast-paced Robo Arena and Robo Sumo challenges.

After-School Robotics at Palos Heights School District 128

Registration is open for CFI Robotics NFP’s Fall 2026 after-school robotics programs at Chippewa Elementary School, Navajo Heights School, and Independence Jr. High School.

Students will build, program, and control robots while developing engineering, problem-solving, design, teamwork, and competition skills through hands-on projects and challenges.

Program Options:

🟢 Chippewa School
• Robot Builders, Grades 2–3
• Mondays, 2:50–4:00 PM
• Robo Sumo, Grades 2–3
• Thursdays, 2:50–4:00 PM

🟢 Navajo Heights School
• Robo Sumo, Grades 4–5
• Tuesdays, 2:35–3:45 PM

🔵 Independence Junior High School
• Robo Arena
• Thursdays, 2:45–4:00 PM

Each program includes 8 sessions.

These after-school programs are open to current students at the participating Palos 128 schools.

Palos Heights #128 | Future Innovators Register for CFI Robotics after-school programs at Palos Heights School District #128. Students explore hands-on LEGO WeDo Robotics at Chippewa Elementary and Navajo Heights, building, coding, and creating in each session.

🤖 After-School LEGO Robotics at St. Walter-St. Benedict

Registration is now open for CFI Robotics NFP’s Fall 2026 Robo Sumo After-School Program at St. Walter - St. Benedict School

Students will build and program LEGO robots while learning engineering basics, driver control, positioning, problem-solving, and match strategy through hands-on Robo Sumo challenges.

Program Details:
• Grades 2–4 and Grades 5–8
• Tuesdays, 3:15–4:30 PM
• 8 sessions
• October 6 through December 8
• Open to current St. Walter-St. Benedict students only
