Join us for our next Family Support Group on Wednesday, May 28th at 6:00 PM 💙
We are honored to welcome Yusuf A. Madyun — a Chicago native, former student athlete, and powerful speaker on faith, justice, redemption, and transformation. After spending more than 53 years incarcerated, including five years on death row, Yusuf transformed his experience into a journey of spiritual growth, healing, and purpose through Islam.
Today, he shares his story to challenge perspectives on incarceration, resilience, forgiveness, and the power of human transformation. His message is rooted in faith, gratitude, and hope for change.
This will be a powerful and uplifting conversation you do not want to miss.

The Queens’ Care Program recently completed its final session, bringing together men, women, and couples for conversations focused on health, healing, and relationships. 💜
This year, we are placing a stronger focus on hearing from and educating men while continuing to offer free HIV screenings and discussions around prevention, intimacy, and self-care.
Participants are also exploring the ViiV Risks & Reasons Activity Book 2, which encourages honest conversations with partners through interactive activities centered on communication, pleasure, wellness, and HIV prevention.
Together, we continue creating safe spaces for learning, empowerment, and community care. ✨

Grateful for every single person who showed up and showed out for our Family Support Group 💙
We created space for real conversations around trauma post incarceration—the emotional, psychological, and unseen impacts that don’t end when someone comes home.
A special thank you to our guest speaker, Mr. Raylan Gilford, for pouring into our community and reminding us that freedom is more than release—it’s healing, reconnecting, and learning how to truly live again. 🌱
This wasn’t just a discussion… it was a step toward restoration for individuals, families, and our entire community.
