See below for details on an opportunity to apply to be a campusCatalyst mentor for UChicago undergrads this fall.
Applications are due September 6!
Who we are: campusCATALYST serves as a bridge between universities and local non-profits by placing teams of students at nonprofits to conduct 10-week consulting projects.
Why you should join: The MBA mentor role is a unique opportunity to gain leadership experience by advising a team of undergraduate students along their engagement in a 10-week consulting project.
What to expect: Mentors should expect an average 3 hour commitment per week (1-hour internal meeting with undergraduate team, 1-hour meeting with non-profit client and extra hour of communication via email), in addition to once-a-quarter scoping meetings and evaluations.
Who we are looking for: Individuals with previous experience in consulting and demonstrated interest in the social sector are good candidates. We also expect a high level of enthusiasm and commitment to the student team.
To apply: The application can be found online at http://bit.ly/1aQIrXy. The fall project cycle will begin the week of September 30, so we strongly encourage applicants to submit their applications as soon as possible. Final presentations will take place during the week of December 9.
