We hope to complete 50 packs by the end of September, and appreciate any monetary or itemized donations. Items can be purchased directly through our amazon wishlist (link in bio), while cash donations can be sent through Venmo () or Zelle ([email protected]).

Care packs include: a surgical-grade mask, chapstick, socks, t-shirt, granola bar, crackers, body powder, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrush, mouthwash, hand warmers, rain poncho, wipes, hand sanitizer packets, comb, kleenex, bandaids, pads, and a drawstring bag.

A quick update regarding this round of care packs.

First and foremost we would like to thank everyone who has donated and gotten the word out regarding our organization!

We are so close to getting all of the packs ready. Stay tuned for more info on how you can help with distribution!

Welcome to Roots Community Outreach! We are a new nonprofit in Chicago currently focused on making care packs for the homeless. We began this project in June ’20 and incorporated our organization in February ’21.
