ILA’S | Inspired by the owners journey from India to Chicago our space holds both heritage and place. One way we do that, a very important and big way is finishes. The backdrop at Ila’s is made up of the existing classic warehouse finishes: exposed brick and timber paired with Indian motifs.

ILA’S | Over the past year we helped create a place that remembers heritage and home. Inspired by ILA herself and the values her family has carried from India to Chicago.

🥂 | As we fill our glass, we’re toasting to the spaces we’ve helped shape, the connections we’ve built, and the the values we’ve brought to life — all while looking pretty damn good doing it.

This year reminded us that the work we do isn’t just about what you see; It’s about how you feel, who you’re with, and the stories that I’m fold. So here’s to designing with purpose, dreaming loudly, and making space for what truly matters (& maybe a little champagne).

Scout

Restaurant & Bar, 2024

The Expression:

After we discovered what our community needs and values: comfort, good food, connection, & quality - Scouts ‘look’ really started to fall into place. We started by placing design in the background - Scout isn’t loud and flashy and isn’t meant to be the most exciting thing in the room. Scout is simple, a backdrop that supports the stories happening within it. From the lighting to the materials and styling, it’s all meant to elevate that time spent connecting versus admiring. We knew our space would get used and abused so we made choices that would help hide the dirt and look better worn in, so you didn’t have to worry about really getting comfortable & staying awhile.
