Hey yall! If you're in Chicago on May 4 I have a cool event for you! There will be kart racing, music, food, and local art to peruse. My brand name even made it onto the poster! I'll be selling t shirts, flower crowns, magic wands, embroidered earrings. Hope to see you there!
Some personal stuff:
I've really struggled to keep this account going. The online marketing is my least favorite part of being an independent artist. I've worked on many things since my last post, but taking decent pictures and playing with the alg0rithm is not something I am good at. I also have to spend most of my time working my main job (cleaning and organizing) in order to get by financially, which burns out my energy. I've also repeatedly gone through changes in relationships which makes stability very difficult. I wish I could put more focus into my art but I literally cant. Its so discouraging. But thanks to everyone still following me. I appreciate it.

Been working hard on a commission for someone to wear to a wedding in August. The final fabric will be black, some shiny and some matte.
[More personal stuff]
This has been almost as frustrating as the red dress from a couple years ago, but having more experience has been helpful. The flashbacks to college, and how awful a certain professor was, have been frequent. But I'm proving again to myself that I am not incapable. I work slowly, but I get things done. My untreated ADHD makes it difficult to persevere, but I'm managing as best I can. Pomodoro technique is especially helpful. I just wish I had other people to sew with.
