The Collaboration Adoption Event is back and it’s happening on Valentine’s Day!

What better way to celebrate than by spreading love to rescue pets, supporting local business, and maybe even meeting your soulmate (with fur)? 💕
Feline Fine Cat Rescue and Just Giants are teaming up to celebrate the slobbery giants and tiny tigers while sharing the love with an amazing local business, Paws On Main Oswego.

Come for the shopping, stay for the cuddles, and leave with your heart full (or maybe even a new Valentine)!

Come visit the cats today until 5pm or tomorrow between 11am-5pm at the Yorktown Mall! We're on the upper level outside Von Maur.

Next month will mark one whole year since Dixie entered our program. When she arrived, she was suffering from a severe case of stomatitis, causing her a great deal of mouth pain. We quickly got her into Shelter Veterinary Solutions for a full mouth extraction, and she's been like a new cat ever since! But sadly, this sweet 11 year old lady has had little interest likely due to her age. So here she is, turning on the charm to woo her new potential family. While she enjoys cuddling with her stuffie buddies, she'd much rather have her own humans to snuggle with! She gets along well with other cats as well, but due to her age, we'd recommend placing her with cats with a similar laid back, calm demeanor.

Last night, we welcomed six tiny new lives into the world 💕

This sweet mama came to us from Chicago Animal Control, and we had no idea she was pregnant when we pulled her. Despite everything she’s been through, she delivered six beautiful kittens and is doing a wonderful job caring for them.

In a line of work filled with abandonment, neglect, and far too many cats needing extreme medical intervention, moments like this bring a much-needed sense of comfort and hope. These little lives remind us why we keep going - even on the hardest days.

Two more emergencies. Two more beautiful souls who deserve full, happy lives.

Little Quasimodo has already shown us just how strong he is. After his tail amputation, he suffered a serious complication and began hemorrhaging so badly that he required an emergency blood transfusion. The ER team felt euthanasia was the only option, believing his surgical site wouldn’t properly close and could lead to a fatal bleed, with another surgery not possible. But after seeing Quasi stabilize—and knowing what a determined little fighter he is—we chose to bring him home and try some unconventional healing methods. Seven days post-transfusion, he’s doing well, and while we’re still cautiously optimistic, we’re hopeful he’s on the path to a full recovery.

Then there’s Snowstorm, a tiny 5-year-old girl who needed emergency surgery the moment she arrived. According to her previous owner, she had been leaking pus for weeks—a classic sign of pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection. How she survived that long, we truly don’t know. Snowstorm weighed just 6 lb 12 oz before surgery… and the infected organ alone weighed nearly a full pound. That’s about 15% of her body weight—an unimaginable amount of pain and pressure. 🤢 She’s now several days post-op, resting (as she absolutely deserves), and is expected to make a full recovery.

These are the cases that remind us why we do this—why every late night, hard decision, and emotional rollercoaster is worth it. Thank you for standing with us as we fight for cats like Quasimodo and Snowstorm. 🐾❤️
