It's ! Of course I had to highlight the best boys in the Nerf business. I'm so grateful to be blessed with such amazing sons to build the FOB legacy for. S/O to all the parents that book us for their special boy birthdays.

🧚‍♂️ MISSION REPORT: The Case of the Missing Incisor 🦷
Happy ! Most people wait for a pillow and a bedtime story, but at a Fun Operating Base event, we do things a little differently.

Last week, we hit the ground running at Northwest Elementary for an epic Father vs. Son Nerf War. The foam was flying, the adrenaline was high, and the tactics were... questionable. 🎯

In the heat of the battle, a young soldier marches up to me with the confidence of a five-star general and proudly announces: “I lost my front tooth!”

Naturally, I went into "Medic Mode":

"Are you okay?!"

"How did it happen? Was it a stray dart?"

"Does your Dad know?!"

The kid just shrugs, cooler than a cucumber, and says: “I’m fine. I was just running and noticed it was gone.” 😎

He breezes past his Dad to give him the update. Dad asks the logical question: "Wait, where is the tooth?!"

The boy, already halfway back to the front lines, yells over his shoulder: “I DON'T KNOW!” and dives back into the fray. Dad just shrugs, reloads his blaster, and gets back to the mission.

The Verdict: When the Nerf War is this intense, not even the Tooth Fairy can slow us down! 🧚‍♀️✨

🎖️ F.O.B. Black History Month Spotlight: The "Hidden Figure" of GPS Gladys West

The Story: Long before we had Google Maps or GPS on our phones to find a party location, Gladys West was doing the heavy lifting. She was a mathematician who programmed the complex calculations that led to the invention of GPS (Global Positioning System).

F.O.B. Connection: We rely on Gladys West’s invention every single day to navigate our mobile "Fun Operating Base" directly to you! Without her math, we’d be lost without a map.

🎖️ F.O.B. Black History Month Spotlight: he Co-Inventor of the Personal Computer (PC) Mark Dean

The Story: Mark Dean is a computer scientist who holds 3 of IBM's original 9 patents for the personal computer. He helped invent the color PC monitor and the technology that allows things like your mouse, keyboard, and printer to "talk" to your computer.

F.O.B. Connection: Mark Dean made technology accessible and "colorful" for everyone. At F.O.B., we use that same spirit of high-tech innovation to bring the most advanced mobile gaming gear right to your doorstep.

🎖️ F.O.B. Black History Month Spotlight: The "Father of the Video Game Cartridge" Jerry Lawson

The Story: Before Jerry Lawson, if you bought a video game console, you were stuck with whatever games were built into the machine. Jerry changed the game (literally!) by leading the team that invented the interchangeable game cartridge. This allowed kids to build a "library" of games for the first time.

F.O.B. Connection: Just like Jerry made it possible to switch from one adventure to another on a console, F.O.B. lets you switch from "Capture the Flag" to "Team Deathmatch" on the battlefield!
