Oct. 13 is Metastatic Breast Cancer AwarenessDay. Join Equal Hope for a watch party to raise funds for metastatic breast cancer research and Equal Hope. The event begins at 6 p.m. at Hyatt Place at 1835 W. Harrison St.

Young Adult Cancer Connect is a virtual group for young adults, ages 18 to 39, with a cancer diagnosis. The group meets on the fourth Wednesday of every month at 5 p.m., starting May 24. Learn more and register at https://rsh.md/42KE8wM.

Staff members from RUSH's supportive oncology team participated in the 2023 5K Walk for Wellness House on Sunday. All proceeds benefited the Wellness House, which provides free programming for people affected by cancer.
