🚨 CHICAGOANS BEWARE: A new anti-abortion crisis pregnancy center (CPC) recently opened in Chicago's Austin neighborhood on the West Side. This means our city now has nine of these anti-abortion CPCs (or "fake clinics"), and we anticipate two more will open soon in Calumet Heights and Chicago Lawn.

HEY CHICAGO! ⚠️ Did you know that there are 8 anti-abortion crisis pregnancy centers (CPCs) in our city working to prevent access to abortion care?

We call anti-abortion CPCs "fake clinics" because most of them are unregulated centers that mimic real reproductive healthcare providers. But they are not bound by HIPAA privacy rules and they are under no obligation to keep their clients' information confidential.

CPCs also claim to help pregnant people with "all their pregnancy options," yet they do not disclose that they are run and supported by extreme anti-abortion groups. The goal? To prevent as many abortions as possible, at any cost. That includes medical disinformation.

What can you do? The most important first step is to learn how to identify the CPCs in your community so that you can warn your friends and loved ones and help them find real medical care.
