I highly recommend taking your camera with you to a street festival - I have always been weary about taking my camera certain places but 10000/10000 is do it again.

I went to Market Days for the first time ever this year and I got to enjoy such an amazing burlesque show put on by & I stumbled upon the beautiful 😍 and got to capture her beauty before my camera decided to have technical difficulties 😅 Can we also give it up for Harlems outfit ?! 🤩😮‍💨

I also got to see my very talented friend and one of my favorite DJs spinning all the best hits for this show (per usual - she kills it every time)

One thing for sure is if you haven’t seen their show I highly recommend you do because you’re missing out on a lot of beauty and talent & go check out Khali’s sets as well. You will NOT be disappointed 🥰

Welcome to the world Braylen Imani 🌎

I had the pleasure of doing a newborn shoot in early April 🤩

Personally, I have never seen a newborn the same day they are born ever before. It’s just a reminder of how precious life truly is. Can you believe we all started out small like that?! And look at us now! Life is truly beautiful. I love being able to capture these pure moments ✨

Well here’s a little life update…

I haven't said anything in a while. I was hired to teach intermediate level digital photography to 7th and 8th graders at a Chicago charter school. I've just taken some time to myself to analyze things because I'm still in complete (happy) shock over everything. Combining my two passions—photography and teaching/helping people—makes perfect sense! I'm just here to show you that everything is possible if you set your mind to it!

Huge shoutout to Jennifer Galante Wargin for making me want to be a photography teacher one day !! You’re class made me fall in love with photography even more & you are a huge inspiration towards this goal ✨

Additionally, this week I will be moving to a larger house that will allow me to set up my own studio in my home. Stay tuned for more details! Finally, I would like to express my pride in myself. The past year after leaving the hospital has been a train wreck/rollercoaster behind the scenes, but I persevered and got through it. In order to be able to earn so much more, I've had to give up a lot, including time with friends and family, and it's finally paying off. Keep your eyes on the prize and don't let fear of getting set back get in the way! I'm only going to get better from here; this is just the beginning! I couldn't even walk or breathe on my own a year ago, and now look at me—winning 🏆 miracles do happen y’all 🥲
