A behind the seams look at the presentation of my Senior Collection, Togged to the Bricks, in 2007. This is the first apparel collection I ever made and consisted of interchangeable pieces. All patterns were made from scratch and two I had to digitize, grade and make markers for. I'm so happy that The Art Institutes Chicago had the latest fashion technology for us to learn. The second picture is a shawl by Valerie Zimbal Sariñana from her collection.

The time I met Ty Pennington when working as a soft home designer for Sears & Kmart ! We designed home good for all brands sold at the stores including celebrity brands. They would give guidance and directions, then would come in and review the lines in development. I don't remember having this hairstyle, but there it is! 😆 This was probably 2008 or 2009.
