Harvey is an almost 2 year old handsome Vizsla with a big loving personality. He is a true velcro dog and wags his nub at every person or dog he meets. During his B&T we are focusing on impulse control around distractions, building confidence up, and get a better understanding of leash foundation. Harvey’s learning how to be neutral around other dogs and walking like a gentlemen with a loose leash. He has been working hard and can’t wait to show Chicago what he’s got!
A trained dog is a happy dog😎
Being able to enjoy a nice walk with your dog while taking in all the Chicago views, now that’s the life. It wouldn’t be possible without training! Building their confidence and neutrality so my dogs are prepare to handle the big city and all the distractions that come with it. Training together to create an even stronger bond to make their world bigger with each walk we take. Whether that walk is around the block or by the water at the lakeshore
What do you see?👀
You might see a dog soaring over another dog jumping into a truck which looks and is awesome!
What I see is one dog proofing a “stand stay” with a huge dog running up and jumping over them. While the other dog is working on generalized the cue “over” and is able to clear a huge jump over a dog obstacle onto a truck.
Both things are true! Training doesn’t have to be boring. So think outside of the box with your training, get creative, and make it fun!
Men are dumb🙄
Just me - a poor, weak, and helpless woman casually walking my two 70lb pittie mixes off leash in Chicago
One finger walks🤎
Whatcha know about one finger walks? It’s really just loose leash walking demenstrating that your dog understands leash foundation and moving with you. Being able to walk your dog while they maintain staying by your side allows you to need only one finger to hold the leash.

Maggie is a sweet gray faced baby angel with a smile that steals your heart. I call her shadow because she loves to follow people around. A true sweetheart but very suspicious of other dogs. Mags struggles with leash and dog reactivity. Her body language completely changes and her back off bark is serious. So during her B&T we will be focusing on leash foundation, building her confidence and learning how to be neutral with other dogs. Positive exposure to other dogs and socializing properly is going to help her realize she doesn’t need to pop off everyone she sees one. Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks?! Maggie is ready to be able to strut her stuff anywhere and everywhere!
Recall with two dogs✌🏼
When it comes to a mutilple dog household you have to remember each dog needs to understand what you’re asking before you pair them together or in a group. It is easy for dogs to just do what the other one is doing and not think as an individual but that’s not what we want all the time. We want each dog to be confidence and solid on their own! So once they are together the expectations as individuals are clear
A little bit hippie, a little bit gangster🙋🏼♀️
Soaking up the Chicago lakefront sunrise with my dogs by my side and the sweet sounds of rap blasting in my ears. Dreams really do come true. You never know what you’re going to get when you put one of my playlists on shuffle but trust me when I say every song is a banger. Music has always fueled my soul and is truly one of my love languages, even if it is Rick Ross
Time to set s**t on🔥
Littermate double dog walking👯🏼♀️
When working two dogs that are either littermates or live in the same home it is important that they each understand leash foundation separately before you try to walk with them together. They are individuals and need to be trained as such, even if they live in the same home. Once they both have a solid foundation then we can bring them together for a nice loose leash walk!
