So this weekend, Sunday to be exact, marks 20 years since we opened the doors at 661 North Clark Street. There’s far too many people to thank individually so we just wanted to make a post to say thank you to everyone that has helped us get this far. To all our staff, past and present. We’ve been so lucky to have such incredible people with us over the last 20 years. We always say at our staff parties that you’ll make friends here that you’ll have for the rest of your life. That was true 20 years ago and still true today and we want to thank you all for your hard work while you hopefully made some friends for life. To all our customers, we appreciate your support more than you will ever know. We’ve met some amazing people over the last 20 years and we’ll continue to meet many more hopefully. A huge thanks to the Irish community here in Chicago. All the other Irish pub owners couldn’t have been more welcoming. The Irish community is as strong here now as it was when we got here if not stronger and we wouldn’t be here without them. So to celebrate… it’s $5 pints all this weekend. We’ve live music on Friday with Tom Mulvey and we’ve an extra special Sunday Session this weekend with Jimmy Keane, Kavan Donohue and friends. Looking forward to seeing friends old and new.
