🏃‍♀️💚 We Did It! Team Bishop Anderson House at the Gift of Hope 5K! 💚🏃‍♂️

On September 28th, our amazing team laced up their running shoes and hit the pavement for an incredible cause. Together, we raised over $700 for Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network!

Why does Gift of Hope matter? As the organ and tissue donation organization serving Illinois and Northwest Indiana, they coordinate life-saving transplants that give thousands of people a second chance at life. One organ donor can save up to 8 lives, and one tissue donor can enhance the lives of 75 others. Their work brings hope to families in their darkest hours and transforms tragedy into the miracle of life.

As a community rooted in compassion and healing, supporting Gift of Hope aligns perfectly with our mission at Bishop Anderson House. Just as we provide spiritual care during times of medical crisis, Gift of Hope provides the ultimate gift of healing through organ and tissue donation.

Now introducing our very first installment of ZAAQ Diary.

As stated in yesterday’s announcement, ZAAQ is the nonprofit/ministry under Seven Keys, focusing on healing and wholeness.

ZAAQ Diary is a space where we address all the manifestations of grief and how each one can show up in your relationship with yourself and others. I will interview people about their experiences and share personal revelation from my time with God.

This week, Brianna Haynes-Cox will join me on Facebook live to talk about grief and disappointment and how both can breed toxic independence. I’ll share my view, from a single woman’s perspective. Brianna will do the same, from a married woman’s perspective.
