💔 DESPERATE PLEA FOR SUNSHINE 💔

Back in the kennels depressed & confused.

Sweet Sunshine has been let down again. After a heartbreaking past of being abandoned and starved, she thought she had finally found peace in a foster home. But her person tragically fell ill and had to be hospitalized, leaving poor Sunshine without a place to call home. Despite her progress and recovery, Sunshine was once again left behind—confused, scared, and heartbroken.

She found a second foster, but things took another sad turn. Despite being clear about her manageable food aggression—a result of her traumatic past—one small mistake changed everything. Someone left a bag of treats out, easily accessible, and Sunshine reacted as we knew she would. Because of this, her foster family decided to return her.

Now, Sunshine is back in the kennels—the very place that breaks her spirit. This gentle soul is shutting down, spending her days stressed, anxious, and wondering why she can’t catch a break. After everything she’s endured, it’s heartbreaking to see her back in a confined space, which feels like a living nightmare for her.

We love Sunshine and KNOW she’s an incredible dog. She’s not aggressive, just a sweetheart who’s been let down by humans more than she ever should’ve been. All Sunshine needs is a loving home with a little patience. She’s come so far, but she needs someone who will give her the space and care to continue growing into the amazing dog we know she can be. With just a bit of understanding and time, she will shine like the ray of sunshine she is meant to be.

Please, can anyone find it in their hearts to open their home to Sunshine? She’s not meant to live out her days in a kennel. She’s meant to be part of a family, to be loved and nurtured. Don’t let her story end in sadness—give her the chance she so desperately deserves. 🌞💔
