Yesterday was MAGIC. A small heaven for a back girl. Thank you for inviting me to be a part of this. I’m so grateful for the moments our paths cross. Let’s do this again soon🎙️

Last night was a 🎥
20+ years of Atl poetry history in this photo. As much as we have paved our own paths, we have always remained in community with each other. I’m grateful for the iron that has sharpened me. And the MONSTERS who remind me the work is never done. Thank you and for the invitation to rock with these giants 🎙️

⚡️Thank you for the invitation to open the show with an original performance to honor and the women in marketing. Thank you and for holding me down. The energy in the room was electric. almost 10 years ago we met sharing an office and dreaming of nights like this. So glad we arrived. 💗

My life is really a 🎥 and I’m grateful for every moment.
1-4: the visionary that you are. On a Monday night, y’all gave a stellar performance. I’m ever inspired by the alchemy you bring a room with you. Thank you for letting me and my bestie be a part of this.
5-10: New Orleans in Spring. it was so good to see you and witness your light. My first Super Sunday was everything I needed to be. I got a new auntie who spends the winter here and has been reminding me that you only get one life. So live it how you want to. Home is where my people are.

To know me is to know my birthday lasts through Valentine’s Day. 🥰 I’m grateful to always be surrounded by love. I wanted a quiet birthday and I got snow and the Super Bowl which demanded I be in the house 😂 but I got out a bit in between. Thank you to everyone who called, text and celebrated with me. 🥂 to 37.
Touring my mother’s living room instead of the country this year and I’m so at peace with that. 🧘🏾♀️

2016 was a life changing year for me. I began that year working a good government job and ended that year getting ready for a 100-city tour. It was the year of the Missy Poem. The year of Freetown Sound The year of working with icons including 🫶🏾 2016 me had so much fire, so much energy. And I’m calling on her to give me a push in 2026. We’ve come so far and we have so much further to go.

Word on the street is I’m back in the ring in 2026 🤫 It’s been 7 years since I competed nationally. I am so inspired by the new school and what is doing that I decided to get back to it. I look forward to hearing your work let’s have some fun. 💪🏾

🎆 2025 was a complicated year but what remains is gratitude. It was a year of growing and becoming. It was the year I decided to change my career path, a year I sat through 24 therapy sessions, and a year where I was *finally* content in my singleness and solitude. It was another year that I spent with my people and that will always be my favorite part. 2026 I invite you to be better than what was before. 🥂 to more life.
