Make sure your audio is on 🎧

There’s something really special about realizing you’re living a life that a younger version of you once dreamed about.

Not because everything turned out exactly as planned, but because you grew, changed, healed, took chances, and kept becoming more of yourself along the way.

Sometimes we get so focused on what’s next that we forget to look around and recognize how far we’ve already come.

Take a minute today to celebrate the little things, the big things, and the moments your younger self would be so proud of.

What’s something you’re living now that younger you would be excited about?

Consider this your little therapy check-in.

Follow the line, see where you end up, and take a second to notice what your brain might be asking for right now.

Maybe it’s rest. Maybe it’s a boundary. Maybe it’s connection. Maybe it’s a little more trust in yourself.

There’s no right answer. Sometimes simply noticing what resonates is a good place to start.

Save this for another day when you need a reminder, and send it to someone who could use a little check-in too.

You don’t have to spend your weekend catching up on everything you didn’t get done this week.

You don’t have to make plans just because you feel like you should. You don’t have to be productive every minute. And you definitely don’t have to earn your rest.

Let this weekend be a chance to slow down, do something that feels good, reconnect with yourself or the people you love, and just breathe.

You made it through the week. That counts.

What are you giving yourself permission to do this weekend?

We’re celebrating a pretty big milestone for Jenna Riem!

At the end of August, Jenna officially passed her LCPC exam, which means she is now a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Illinois. This is an important step in a clinician’s career and requires years of education, supervised clinical experience, and meeting the state’s licensure requirements, along with successfully passing the licensing exam.

But beyond the letters after her name, this milestone represents so much of the work Jenna has put into becoming the therapist she is today. The studying, the clinical hours, the supervision, the learning, and all of the growth along the way.

We’ve loved watching Jenna continue to grow as a clinician and bring so much thoughtfulness and care to her work with clients. We’re incredibly proud of her and so excited to celebrate this next chapter with her.

Jenna, you did it! We’re so lucky to have you on the Head First Health team.

Because sometimes your brain is doing its best… and its best is questionable. 😂

A few reminders for the week: change your mind, take a break, go outside, dance in the kitchen, try again tomorrow. And if your brain is feeling a little too busy lately, therapy can help.

Which one are you? 👀

Girl to girl: you don’t have to keep wondering if there’s somewhere better, someone better, or a version of life where you finally feel “enough.”

Sometimes the grass isn’t greener—you just need to remember you bring something valuable wherever you go. 🌱

Healing can look like learning to trust yourself, recognize your worth, and stop measuring your value by what’s happening around you.

Save this for the days you need the reminder.

Monday mood, but make it therapeutic. 🫠

A little humor for the thoughts, habits, and oddly specific realities that come with being a human. Which one are you taking into your therapy session this week? 😂

Sometimes “How are you?” is more than a question. In therapy, it’s an invitation to slow down and actually check in with yourself.

Not just “good,” “busy,” or “fine,” but the long version. The complicated version. The version where you’re not even sure what you’re feeling yet.

Because therapy gives you space to talk about what’s happening beneath the surface, make sense of what you’re carrying, and say the things you may not have known how to say anywhere else.

So for the record, when we ask how you are, we actually want the long version.
