[what mantra are you putting in your pocket for the week]
🦋i am enough
🦋my feelings deserve space
🦋i am actively releasing judgement from my thoughts
🦋i am approaching this week with breath and curiosity
🦋i can say: no, not today, or I’ll get back to you - and that is okay
🦋doing nothing is enough

Who fits that role for you?

I saw this posted behind a building in Manhattan years ago, and it always stuck with me.
Even if you’re beginning the journey of “self like,” I ask you, what can you do today/ this moment/ these next ten minutes that are in alignment with who you want to be? That person you’re working towards?
Is that drinking more water?
Is that twenty minutes of movement?
Is that turning off technology?
Is that giving more time to craft?
Is that giving less time to self doubt?
Is that turning up the volume on your inner nurturer?
4-4-8 I tell my clients. Breathe in for 4, hold for 4, breathe out for 8. Do this for three minutes. If you can’t find the motivation to do any of the above, breathe. Breath will always take you back to who you are.

what’s on your bookshelf this month?
Here are a few of my favorites over the past couple years📖
Wendy & Lou were two huge endorsements of my book. I finished Lou’s book “The Making of a Therapist,” the night before I started my first job as a therapist in private practice. To have him endorse a book of my own was a huge full circle moment for me.
is another author I’ve followed for years. I read her story while living in NY, and I’ve always been in awe of the way she writes- her poet style- the connection she can so flawlessly and magically couple between words and feeling. I am a fan from afar.

The amount of support and messages I have received about this book has been mind blowing. Grateful does not even begin to describe how I’m feeling. To the ones who set alarms, got on the waiting list, sent me photos of their purchase, reposted the news of the release…I am so incredibly thankful.
I can’t wait for you all to read ILMM, and I look forward to reading your messages- reviews- and thoughts along the way.
Happy reading & tag me on your “i love me more” journey.
