DMN Racing Grassroots race group. DMN Racing (est. 2016) is a grass roots race group. Collectively we’ve been competing in motorsports for over 30 years.
More important than the motorsports history, we have been close friends for nearly 20 years. We started racing at smaller HPDE events and progressively moved into time attack series racing which sparked the team creation. There's a long standing joke that when you tell a non-car person that you race, they almost always ask you if you watch NASCAR... Well I guess they know me better than I knew myself. With we will be on the same track as NASCAR!
And I guess we will watch them too! 😁 Excited to be a part of the amazing experience!

If anyone is, just wondering why Autobahn didn't go so hot for me. Saturday, I had a turbo fitting failure that emptied all my water while I was waiting to go on track for the last session. With the help of a fellow competitor Lali and his team, We tracked down the issue and repaired it. This way I'd be ready to go out Sunday morning in the cool air.
Sunday morning, looking over the car and I found this (pictured). Immediately assumed a head gasket issue. Since I didn't want to risk blowing up the motor and not knowing the health from overheated in line, I packed up and headed home.
I'm not sure why Davies Craig uses this silly coating on their pump and it doesn't appear to be up to the task. This could clog ports causing hot spots and potential failures . I plan on using a different pump going forward..

Gridlife’s 10 year anniversary festival has come to an end and as I reflect back, I’m blown away by how many rad people this community has! I can’t say this event was a walk in the park for me. I had my wideband sensor go bad, a tire puncture, failed cut off switch, bad alternator, and a few clean ups with exploring track limits. However, I did set a new AWD record and PB @ 1.31.1 Thanks to the Gridlife team for putting on a spectacular event, for putting up with this crazy hobby, the Haltech guys for the track side support, for always willing to help, , , and for all the off-track help and hangs!
So, what actually happened… I was seeded in first position in my class and on my second flyer, I blew it by going off track at turn 3. I’ve looked over the data so many times to understand where I went wrong, and I just didn’t drive well enough. In the end, I couldn’t have lost to a better set of people.
