Over this last weekend, we heard that Lennox Purinton qualified as a steam locomotive fireman at the Nevada Northern Railway. Here's a little throwback video that Lennox appeared in which proves that he has been studying the art of firing a steam locomotive for quite some time. :-)

Move Could Mean Promising Future For Historic Evanston Train Earlier this month, preservationists began work on a new project they believe could unlock the potential of a historic train in Evanston, Wyoming.

Last week Wasatch Railroad Contractors moved Union Pacific, 0-6-0, 4420 to her new home at the historic Evanston Roundhouse. Her new home is one of the premier Roundhouse restorations in the nation. Future plans include the movement of the water tower at Wahsatch to the facility. The group hopes to first get the 4420 inside and then the group hopes to restore the locomotive either cosmetically or to full operational order. Our team is proud to be a supporter of the museum and great work they are doing.

Toy Man Television just *happened* to be in Ely, NV on the day that a fire was lit in Locomotive No. 81, and with camera in hand was able to capture the special moment.
