Little Pikey got a bath this weekend in preparation for him going home today and he was such a good boy about it! 😍

Grooming is extremely important to introduce from a young age, not just for service dogs, but pet dogs too! Nails, bath, blow dryer, ear cleaning, the whole process! We not only start teaching this from a young age, but we also start taking them to a groomer from a young age too!

The 3 Brothers had a fun puppy class together this evening and they had to show off that they're all ready for fall! 🥰🍂

We're super excited to watch these boys grow together! They all have been showing great signs of potential, learning quickly and bonding beautifully! 😍

Washing 2 program dogs is hard to recover from. It's a big blow to not just us but the handlers they were intended for💔💚 But with that comes new things!

Introducing our newest Program Dog, Huckleberry (Huck for short).

Mr. Huckleberry was selected specifically with a certified handler in mind. We are hopeful that he can fill some big shoes as he has a very big job ahead of him!

We have 3 new owner/hybrid dogs and we're excited about every one of them! 😍

Fergus is a 2 year old Dachshund training for Cardiac alert and hopefully gluten detection 🤞🏻(this is a hard task to train). He already has some great foundations so we're able to dive right in with him and we're so excited to play with him!

Radon is a brand new, 8 week old Golden Retriever who is training to be a psychiatric dog 😍 While he's an owner train, we are helping raise him and we're already pretty obsessed with his outgoing personality! 😍

And lastly, Pike! Pike is Radon 's brother and it'll be fun watching them both grow up! This cutie is training to be a multipurpose service dog and him and his handler have a lot to learn together! 🥰

Washing a dog from a service dog program never gets easy, but it's a very necessary step for the health and safety of the dog, our handlers, and the general public 💚

This week we are sad to announce that both Enid and Oopsie are washing from our program 😭💔

Enid unfortunately was not enjoying the job and was showing us that, we as her trainers, needed to listen💚 She's a happy, bubbly, sweet girl, who loves to learn, but unfortunately we picked the wrong job for her💚 At this point in time she will be remaining with our president/head trainer for the time being and we are chatting with her wonderful breeder about future plans💚

Oopsie was a devastating blow💔 This girl was flying threw her training and was quickly on her way to making a difference in a young boy's life, but unfortunately she was diagnosed with Collie Nose Lupus 😢 This is something she unfortunately will have to be on meds for the rest of her life to manage as well as routine blood work to monitor the progression. Right now all it has caused is discoloration of the nose and some scabbing, nothing more thanks to our team being so observant and on top of our program dogs' health and catching it in time to get treatment!
Right now she will be remaining with us even just as a great role model for future puppies! But long term we hope to find an active home that would love to do sports with her! This girl has a busy mind and is always wanting to work or train and we hope to find somewhere that she can continue to do that with and take care of her long term heal! 💚

Thank you all that donated to these sweet girls, the board has voted to put those donations towards the handlers they were planned to be paired with.

While we're sad to see this chapter of our program close, the chapter of our first program dogs, we're also very excited to turn the page into our next one! 💚 Stay tuned and follow along for our next adventure, and don't worry, you'll get updates on these girls and all our program dogs that are currently with their handlers! 🥰

We need your help Cheyenne!

We have a handler in our program who needs a service dog so he doesn't have to rely on his staff as much.
The dog we had hoped he would pair with ended up washing from our program due to not having the appropriate temperament, and not enjoying the job💚 With that we have been on the lookout for another dog for him and one has fallen into our laps! 🥰

But we need help raising the funds to transport this puppy here!
Our goal is to raise $3000 for Scott's dog by the end of September! Can you help us out? 🥰
