True Troupe

Our three Teen Poetry winners from our Wrights of Wyoming Youth Poetry Readings event received their awards today. Director Traci Michelle McDivitt drove the awards to Laramie High School and Ms. Klima posed with Emily, Jaxx and Kristy and their totes. We were super honored to have so many of her students submit this year and hope she and more teachers will join for our next Wrights of Wyoming event in two years when we celebrate True Troupe’s 10th anniversary in 2028!!

Our winners have been chosen from our youth poetry reading this afternoon. Kids poem BOB won, the writer was not present and teacher Amber True from Boys and Girls Club of Cheyenne accepted pictured with director Traci Michelle McDivitt and one of the wonderful Buffalo prizes donated from Goosegoosesstitchery!! Teen poem writers #1 poem by Emily was read by Drew, he holds that winners Buffalo, #2 winner was Paintbrush by Jaxx read by Madison she holds a cup donated by The Human Bean Cheyenne Yellowstone Road, #3 winner was Animals in Wyoming by Emily read by Buddy he holds a Writer Worm pen donated by Galaxy 42 Rocks director Traci holds a gift certificate from Twinkle Twinkle Little Store and all hold totes from Chapter & Cotton!! All teens were from Laramie High School. Arrangements will be made to get prizes to them!! Thank you all for your participation and we hope to hear from you again next year!!!!
