It has been just two months shy of a year since we closed the doors of the store for the last time and the building has finally come down.

We thought we would share the first picture of the dancehall building Herman moved in from Federal, Wyoming to open his store in 1958 and the last picture of the building today as we remove the burned remains.

We want to thank everyone in the community for all of their support over the years. A special thank you to everyone who shared their memories! You've made the bittersweet process of closing the store more sweet than bitter.

Well, we decided on our final markdown, so starting today we are going to 76% off. This is no April Fool’s joke! This is the lowest we’ll go, and we will be closing the store officially on May 7th, 2022, exactly 64 years from when Herman first opened the store.

Spring snows has struck again! We’ll be closed today, but we hope to open again tomorrow.

It’s -33 with wind chill today here in Cheyenne, and our furnace can’t keep up with the bitter wind. So for the comfort and safety of our staff and customers, we’ll be closed today. We are currently planning to reopen tomorrow for our normal business hours.

We wanted to show appreciation to our veterans and their family. We put together a bundle for each of the campaigns. Each bundle will make a nice shadow box. Each bundle has a custom made bracelet with it. Thank you Rich for making the bracelets. The ones that are here now are pictured here: Korea, Iraq and Desert Storm.

Starting today we are at 65% discount except for MREs. They are the regular price of $79.95 for a case of 12.

We are open and doing business. Our hours are the same for now. M-S 10AM-5PM. Have a pleasant safe warm day!

We are taking a well deserved break for our employees and ourselves to enjoy the holidays. We wish your family a safe happy holiday season. We will reopen January 5th, 2022 at 10am-5pm. At that time we will post a new schedule.

We are able to donate 20 sweatshirt hoodies, 6 pairs of gloves, and 4 pair of socks. Thank you the customers who came in and helped us help our homeless citizens. In addition, we will be donating additional items as well. Thank you for your participation.

Help us help people without a home this winter! We have sweatshirts, gloves, hats, and socks! Today every time we sell any of these items, we will donate the same item to the homeless. Please share the news so we can donate items of warmth for them. Have a safe holiday!
