Newborn puppies sometimes aren't long for this world. Show prospects don't turn out... Dogs fail health testing (those of you that don't do health tests really should, perfectly sound dogs fail every day). We lose dog shows..
We lose money..
We lose time.
We lose old dogs...
We lose young mothers...
Yet we all are here for the little gains that seem to put a bandaid on the losses.
A puppy that takes its first breath..
A nuzzle by our best old pal.
A ribbon at a dog show.. A light in a family's eyes when they hold their puppy.. A wag of a tail..
All for the love ofa dog and the breed as a whole. Our hearts are resilient. It takes a special kind of person to endure it all ❤️🐾
