Shower door

While I'm at it...I finished a bunch of other stuff too...

Well... it only took me 2 years... and several changes... and a complete redo in the last month... but I finished my bathroom 😆...

So, now I'm on to all the little stuff... grout, molding etc... this light box was an after- thought though... which in hindsight is the worse kind of idea lol... but I managed to make it work... still has a few more finishing touches to be done.

Once finished with the floor...I could move on to the tile.

So... new year and I finally got around to tackling this bathroom floor. Because I'm dealing with a compound slope I had to get creative leveling the surface for the Teak shower floor. My final solution was 3/8 hex lag bolts, bolt wedge anchors, pex tubing... and a whole lot of patience. The result was a perfect fit and level x & y.

I finally finished the build in cabinet... roughly 200 hrs, some 500 pieces... and lots of elbow grease... pine and cedar with a cognac stain and satin finish.

Basement update: My father was a career military man...25yrs active service. Extremely proud of him for that. So...this build is dedicated to him for him. Here we will be able to honor and remember his service...I still have some finish work before staining... but I wanted to share it anyway.

Finally... deck 3 of 3 is finished.

1 down and 1 to go... all in all not bad for 21hrs.

A little progress update on the deck...2 days (14 hrs)...tbc on Tuesday...I seriously pride myself on building the safest decks possible for clients... absolutely impairative.

Permits approved... time to build some decks... oh how I miss these days...
