Big news in clean energy ☀️🔋
Last week, Meta announced two partnerships pushing the boundaries of what's possible for powering AI infrastructure.
We're working with Overview Energy to bring solar power from space to Earth—satellites collecting sunlight around the clock and beaming it to solar farms on the ground. And we're partnering with Noon Energy on ultra-long-duration storage that can hold clean energy for days, not just hours.
These are the kinds of investments that help strengthen the grid and support reliable power for our data center operations here and across the country.

🌎🧊 April is Earth month — and we're proud to share a closer look at the water restoration work happening in Los Lunas.
Water is a shared and vital resource — and at Meta, our goal is to become water positive in 2030. That means restoring more water than we consume in our operations, while partnering with local communities to boost supply, enhance quality, and protect ecosystems.
In this video, our Water Program leads share what drives this work — and how projects near the Rio Grande are helping move toward that goal.

Recently, Meta was proud to sponsor and attend the Make-A-Wish Wyoming Serving Up Wishes event right here in Cheyenne. It was a truly special evening dedicated to helping grant life-changing wishes for children facing critical illnesses across our state.
A huge thank you to Make-A-Wish Wyoming for putting on such an incredible event and for the meaningful work you do every single day. The dedication and heart your team brings to granting wishes and supporting these kids and their families is nothing short of inspiring.
We also want to give a big shout-out to the University of Wyoming athletes who came out and helped make the night so much fun. Your energy, enthusiasm, and willingness to connect with everyone in the room made a real difference and added something special to the evening.
Events like this remind us why community matters so much. Meta is proud to support organizations like Make-A-Wish Wyoming that are making a real difference in the communities we call home. We look forward to continuing to stand alongside partners who are doing such important work for Wyoming families.
Thank you to everyone who came together to make this gala a success! 🌟
Yesterday, we announced that we’re breaking ground on our 28th U.S. Meta data center in Tulsa, Oklahoma! When coming to a new community, Meta is committed to making a positive impact by investing in local schools and nonprofits, partnering on local water restoration projects, adding energy to the grid and supporting local jobs to build and operate the data center.
We're building the future of human connection and once operational, the Tulsa Data Center will be part of the highly advanced infrastructure that helps connect billions of people around the world.
We are proud to call Oklahoma home – follow Tulsa Data Center for local updates
We're excited to share a new opportunity for people across the United States. 🎉
Meta has partnered with CBRE to launch LevelUp Fiber Technician Pathway — a free, four-week training program that prepares people for high-demand fiber technician careers operated by CBRE. No prior experience is required.
Whether you're a recent graduate, exploring a career change, or looking for a pathway into the skilled trades — this program is built for you.

Last week, Meta was proud to sponsor and attend the Cheyenne LEADS Annual Meeting and Banquet. Cheyenne LEADS plays an important role in bringing together business and community leaders to strengthen economic development across the region, and we were thrilled to be part of such a great evening.
Events like this are a reminder of how much can be accomplished when local businesses, organizations, and community leaders come together with a shared commitment to Cheyenne's future. There's a lot of momentum in Laramie County, and Meta is proud to be part of it.
We're grateful to the Cheyenne LEADS team for putting together another outstanding event, and we look forward to continuing to support the growth and success of the community we call home.

Things are busy here in Cheyenne! Since breaking ground in 2024, our data center site has been a hub of activity, and the momentum continues to build. On any given day, you can see crews working across multiple buildings, heavy equipment moving across the site, and steady progress being made at every turn. We're proud of the progress we've made and grateful to the many skilled tradespeople and partners who show up every day and put in the hard work to keep things moving forward.
One of the things we're most excited about is our administrative building, which is being constructed using mass timber. Mass timber is an innovative building method that uses engineered wood products designed for strength and durability as substitutes for traditional materials like steel and concrete. It's a great example of how Meta is approaching data center construction with sustainability in mind from design and materials all the way through operations. Plus, it looks absolutely beautiful!
We appreciate the continued support of our neighbors and all of Cheyenne as construction continues, and we look forward to sharing more updates as we reach new milestones.

Today is International Data Center Day — and for us, it's an opportunity to reflect on what matters most: the data center communities we call home and celebrating the people who make these communities so special.
In 2025 alone, we supported more than 430 local projects and donated over $11.8 million to schools, nonprofits, and small businesses across our 30 communities in the United States, Europe, and Asia. This is part of our long-term commitment to data center communities where since 2011, Meta has invested over $94 million in 3,700 local projects.
From supporting STEM innovation in classrooms to workforce training programs, revitalizing community parks to helping small businesses grow — we’re grateful for all the partnerships we have with local organizations that are dedicated to investing in their communities.

Earlier this week, the Cheyenne Data Center team had the honor of participating in Trades Day, hosted by Laramie County School District 1 and AGC of Wyoming. Hundreds of students from 5th through 8th grade got to explore the exciting world of skilled trades with dozens of industry partners and discover real career opportunities waiting for them!
At our booth, Meta teamed up with Fortis Construction and Mortenson to give presentations and lead hands-on activities helping kids understand what kinds of skills it takes to build and operate data centers. Seeing their curiosity and excitement as they learned about these careers firsthand was the highlight of the day.
We're proud to be part of the Cheyenne community, and events like these are one of the ways we can help inspire the next generation of skilled tradespeople. Whether it's construction, electrical work, engineering, or operations, there are incredible career paths out there, and it's never too early to start exploring them.
Thank you to Laramie County School District #1 and the AGC of Wyoming for putting together such a great event. We can't wait for the next one!

We were glad to host local first responders at the Cheyenne Data Center construction site last week.
A big thank you to the Cheyenne Police Department, Laramie County Sheriff's Office, and the Cheyenne Fire Rescue for touring the site with our team and walking through how an effective response would be coordinated in the event of an emergency.
We appreciate their time, professionalism, expertise, and their continued partnership in helping us keep everyone working on our site safe.
