We had an amazing kickoff to our Donuts with Dudes series, welcoming approximately 150 students and positive male role models for a morning of connection and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us as we build strong relationships that support student success. We look forward to continuing these meaningful events and strengthening our partnership throughout the year! 🍩

Howlin’ Highlights from Coyote Ridge!

6th-grade students put their learning about life in a Hooverville and the Great Depression on display by working together to create graffiti-style artwork filled with powerful quotes, important facts, key vocabulary, and illustrations.

This creative activity gave students a chance to show what they know while collaborating with their classmates and digging deeper into the challenges people faced during the Great Depression.

Howlin' Highlights from Coyote Ridge!

There’s nothing quite like CRTV Fridays! Each week, our students gather together to tune in to CRTV, our student-led news broadcast created by Coyotes, for Coyotes!

From school updates and celebrations to seeing familiar faces on the screen, CRTV is a fun way for our Coyotes to stay connected and celebrate all of the amazing things happening around Coyote Ridge. We love seeing our students cheer on their classmates, show their school spirit, and start the day together as one Coyote community!

PAWS Up for our Purple Star School!

Coyote Ridge is incredibly proud to officially receive our Purple Star designation, recognizing our commitment to supporting military-connected students and families and ensuring they feel welcomed, valued, connected, and supported.

This week’s celebration was especially meaningful as we honored our military students and families and recognized the service and sacrifice of those who serve our country. A special thank you to Major General Gregory C. Porter, Adjutant General for the State of Wyoming, for joining us and speaking to our Coyotes, and to Wyoming Superintendent of Public Instruction Megan Degenfelder for joining our celebration and presenting Coyote Ridge with our Purple Star designation.

Our Coyotes also created nearly 500 cards for members of the Base Honor Guard to take with them on an upcoming deployment, a small way to send our gratitude, encouragement, and support with them.

Most importantly, this was about our military-connected students and families. We are grateful for your strength, resilience, service, and sacrifice, and we are proud to stand beside you.

Each week at Coyote Ridge, we celebrate a staff member who truly embodies what it means to be a Coyote! Someone who shows a positive attitude, acts kindly towards self and others, makes wise choices, and always stays safe.

The honored staff member gets a special visitor, Carlyle, who joins them in their classroom for the week. The staff member also writes a chapter in Carlyle’s Adventures!

We’re back for another year of celebrating the amazing things happening at Coyote Ridge!

First up is one of our 6th-grade trios! To kick off the year, this trio spent time building relationships and creating connections across all three classes. Students and teachers headed outside for games, plenty of laughs, and even a dance party!

We kicked off our year at Coyote Ridge by coming together as a staff, building connections, strengthening our teamwork, and learning how we can continue to make our school an even better place for every student.

And we ended the week with a BIG PULL! Our Coyote Ridge crew all pitched in to pull a fire truck, proving that when everyone contributes, there's nothing we can't accomplish together!
