Staff Spotlight at Coyote Ridge!

Each week at Coyote Ridge, we celebrate a staff member who truly embodies what it means to be a Coyote! Someone who shows a positive attitude, acts kindly towards self and others, makes wise choices, and always stays safe.

The honored staff member gets a special visitor, Carlyle, who joins them in their classroom for the week. The staff member also writes a new chapter in Carlyle’s Adventures!

Congratulations to Mr. Ehardt, this week's recipient! We’re excited to see what adventures Carlyle will have with you!

During testing, PAWD 2 students earned points for meeting expectations, including taking their time, using scratch paper, and respecting the testing environment. They cashed in those points for their favorite toppings like brownies, caramel, bananas, whipped cream, chocolate syrup, sprinkles, and more. Wyoming weather didn’t cooperate, but we made it work indoors with BINGO and sundaes in the Makerspace. Big shout‑out to our generous parents for all the donations! PAWS up, Coyotes!

A big Coyote howl for Ms. Julie Walsh! Ms. Julie was selected as the LCSD1 Head Cashier of the Year! Way to go, Ms. Julie! We are so lucky to have you at Coyote Ridge and appreciate all you do for our students and staff. PAWS up, Coyotes! 🐾

Coyote Ridge’s Anchored4Life members successfully completed their first annual service project! Our students worked together to help clean up the perimeter of the school grounds by collecting trash and making our campus shine. They showed incredible teamwork, responsibility, and school pride throughout the project.

We are so proud of all of our members this year and the heart, dedication, and effort they have poured into launching this program. Way to go! PAWS up, coyotes!

Coyote Ridge Student Council proudly hosted the 2nd Annual Carlyle’s Kindness Initiative! Students donated items to PEEPS, LCSD1’s Family Resource Center, to help support families in our community. Thank you to all of our Coyotes for contributing to this wonderful organization and spreading kindness beyond our school walls!

WANTED: The best PTO in the West! 🤠

We want to give a HUGE shoutout to our Coyote Ridge PTO for going above and beyond during Teacher Appreciation Week! We absolutely loved the Wild West theme, and every decoration, treat, and gift did not go unnoticed. Our staff felt so appreciated, spoiled, and supported all week long.

Last month, students from Central High’s NHS visited Coyote Ridge to partner with some of our 6th graders for a community service initiative. Together, students created heartfelt cards to thank healthcare workers for all they do.

We love collaborating with our high school students to spread kindness, give back to our community, and build our TR1BE mentality!

Way to go, 6th graders. PAWS up, Coyotes!
