🔎🐍 CAN YOU SPOT THE CORN SNAKE?
Somewhere in this enclosure is a very cute corn snake who has apparently decided that being on display is optional.
For scale, he's about 24 inches long, or two 12-inch rulers end to end. Yet somehow, he's pretty darn good at disappearing.

This is also one of the things we love about bioactive enclosures. Live plants, leaf litter, natural substrate, and a cleanup crew don't just make an enclosure look great, they give the animal a much more natural environment to explore, burrow, and hide in. Sometimes a little too well. 😂

When you’re cleaning the glass, can’t find the frog, and accidentally grab the exact leaf he’s been sleeping under…

Red-eyed tree frogs spend their days tucked beneath leaves with their eyes closed and legs pulled in, hiding those bright colors surprisingly well. Then nighttime hits, and they come alive.

Apparently, we interrupted this one’s beauty sleep—and he came down to silently judge our housekeeping. 🐸🍃

We will always remember. For some of us it was a lesson learned in history class. For some of us it's a brutal memory. None of us should ever forget what happened on this day 25 years ago. We thank the first responders who gave their lives to save others, the countless people who came to aid those who needed, and a day where the busiest city in the world fell silent.
