Rest easy, Brother. Your name, your memories, and your stories are still shared amongst us.

Remembering Booker

Today marks the 2nd anniversary of losing one of our own. Aaron Booker was a kind, adventurous, and dedicated man who passed away on August 5, 2023. We remember him today for his unwavering commitment to his family, friends, community, and faith. His selfless nature and love will continue to inspire all who knew him.

Aaron found true fulfillment in serving his community. He was an EMT and a Lieutenant/Firefighter for the City of Cheyenne Fire Department, joining the force in September 2003 and remaining a committed member until his untimely passing. Beyond his firefighting duties, Aaron was known for always lending a helping hand. He built fences, worked on the ambulance service and in the ER, and took on other side jobs to help others.

An avid outdoorsman, Aaron loved spending his free time with loved ones, enjoying activities like riding ATVs, camping, kayaking, fishing, and hunting. His friends remember the countless miles of fence he helped build and the hundreds of logs he cut for firewood—a testament to his generous and selfless spirit.

Aaron's legacy of love and selflessness will live on in all of us. May he rest in peace.

Hey Cheyenne! Our crew at Station 6 have come the rescue of a stray pup…

Are you missing a 2-3 year old chocolate lab, by chance?

If so, call the crew at Station 6 at (307) 637-6326, or stop by 444 Western Hills Blvd.

We hope we don’t need to call animal services.

Turns out one of our firefighter wifes is extremely talented. Tami Offret Haws started painting windows a few weeks ago and fire admin wanted in on the festivities. We can't thank her enough for taking on such a demanding challenge at the last minute!
Welcome to Frontier Days and come see her art at 18th and Pioneer. Stay safe, stay hydrated, and have some fun. We love you Cheyenne!
