We passed the first federal legislation to allow for medical cannabis and CBD research — HR 8485 —- but it hasn’t gone anywhere. NIH and ARPA-H are totally focused on medical tracking biotech and vaccine development. Wake up America. Our government agencies are captured by Big Tech and Big Pharma…Who will step up and privately fund the research? We know the safety and efficacy is there. Harriet Hageman spoke to the WY State Senate yesterday. This article does not mention Rep. Hageman told Senate members that Congressional oversight is needed with the NIH and other medical/health related federal institutions (so we don't have another Dr Faucci and NAIAD and so millions in funding isn't squandered to special interests, endless vaccines development, and bio-tracking). We need Congressional oversight of ARPA-H and to ensure its funding goes to medical break-through research and palliative care advancements.

Hageman Warns U.S. Heading For Fiscal Cliff, Says Legislators Must Fight For Coal, Oil & Gas | Cowboy State Daily U.S. Rep Harriet Hageman on Wednesday told Wyoming legislators that the U.S. is heading for a "fiscal cliff" and it was important that they continue to fight for coal, oil, and gas.

There’s been a Bill submitted to the WY legislature (HB0137) to ban sales of CBD products to those under the age of 21. So under this Bill you sell a CBD topical to a 20 year old Marine and you get fined.

This Bill is misinformed. Delta 8 THC and other synthetic isomers are currently legal in WY. WY should be focused on protecting children and minors from access to these unregulated synthetic psychotropic compounds (not CBD, which we know is safe and will not get anyone high).

I’ll be taking action to defeat this Bill and keep the focus where it belongs: passing Decrim and a Medical program in WY.
