What other horse health/fitness hacks do you recommend?

I absolutely love riding in a quality, well-groomed sand arena, but some of the best tools for maintaining our horses’ health and fitness exist out in nature. Hill work is a crucial part of many rehab programs, so why shouldn’t it be a part of our normal routines with our horses?

I’ll add the caveat that the faster your horse is going, the less hill work should be done. Walking and some trotting is best, but too much loping on hills can do more damage than good. Like many things in life, moderation is key.

Is he plotting world domination or his next nap? We may never know…
